Lavern Grasty Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lavern Grasty of Saint John, Indiana, born in Woodlawn, Tennessee, who passed away on September 29, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Blane Grasty; and her parents, Luther Gibbs and Isabel Gibbs. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Lewis Grasty (Celia) and Luther Keith Grasty; her grandchildren, Jason Scott Grasty (Lori), Cullen Blane Grasty (Autumn) and Leah Loraine Rudzinski (Tim); her great grandchildren, Jordan, Austin, Riley Rudzinski, Meghan, Brynn, Braxton, Deacon and Eila Grasty; her sister-in-law Cynthia Crain; her daughter-in-law Lynda Loraine Grasty; her grandson Nathan Keith Grasty; her great grandchild Kailynn Elissa Grasty; and her brothers, Bill and Rodney Gibbs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
