She was predeceased by: her spouse Gene Hamblin; and her parents, Carl DeGroot and Leone DeGroot. She is survived by: her children, Deborah, Becky, Joel (Mylene) and Rachel (Ron).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Skyline Memorial Park (24800 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449).
