He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bruinsma and Tena Bruinsma. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Bruinsma; his children, Kristen Prim, Ryan Bruinsma (Jaime) and Eric Bruinsma (Kelly); and his siblings, Lois Rau (Jim), Jerry Bruinsma (late Martha) and Karen Bruinsma.
