He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Malm; his son Robert Malm (Andrea); his sisters, Elaine Boldman and Lillian Thompson; and his parents, Edgar Malm and Mabel Malm.
He is survived by: his son John Malm (Renee); and his grandchildren, Lauren Mackela (Scott), Robert Malm (Katie), Jordan Malm (Kerianne), Dane Malm (Sydney) and Noah Malm (Morgan).
