He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hedges and Helen Hedges; and his brothers, R. R. Hedges and Roger Hedges. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Hedges; his daughters, Karen Penczak (Joe) and Laurie Pawlowski (Bart Kolasa); his grandsons, Phil Pawlowski (Jessie) and Jeff Pawlowski (Christine); and his great grandchildren, Molly, Ben and Ada.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's name to Honor Flight Chicago and Camp Quality.
