He was predeceased by: his wife Myra Evers; his brother Donald Evers; and his parents, Chester Evers and Henrietta Evers. He is survived by: his children, Chet "Jim" Evers III (Paula), Alan Evers (Teri), Patti Jabaay (Jim) and Nancy Evenhouse (Doug); and his siblings, Jim Evers, Phyllis Persenaire, Sharon Vander Woude, Laurel Douma, Richard Evers and Arlene Hoekstra.
