With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolyn E. Ridder of Saint John, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carolyn left this world on April 20, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vergil Lindberg and Eleanor Lindberg. She is survived by: her husband James B. Ridder; her children, Brian Ridder (Karrie Comatas) and Kristine Holland (Bill); her grandsons, Nicholas Ridder, Evan Holland and Michael Holland (Kylie); and her siblings, Kenneth Lindberg (Glenda) and Valerie Gervais (Dale).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1966 Thornton Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).
