She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Stephen and Catherine Stephen (Sutter); her husband Rex E. Sims; her son Daniel M. Sims; and her siblings, Albert, Joseph, Lawrence, Walter, Robert, Roy Stephen, Lucille Grau, Rita Meyers and Margaret Baumgartner.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Sims (Patricia) of Hebron, IN, David Sims (Susan) of Waveland, IN and Cheryl Lynn Salatas (Steven) of Schererville, IN; her grandchildren, Charlene Horton (Ronald), Pamela Rocha (Ramon), Laura Gard (Craig), Melissa Skinner (Jeremy), Jennifer Childers (Brian), Joshua Sims (Brooke) and Leanne DiParvine (Frederick); and her great grandchildren, Cassidy, Lewis Skinner, Patty, Broderick Horton, Brenda Rocha, Grant, Sylvie Gard and Shelby DiParvine. She is also survived by many close friends and loving family members.
