With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ruth Gibson of Saint John, Indiana, who passed away on August 19, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Menno Wiersma and Gertrude Wiersma; her daughter Teri Kerns (late Tom); and her siblings-in-law, Bud, Marlene Gibson and Judy Urban.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Gibson; her children, Scott (Dawn), Dave (Amy) and Tami; her grandchildren, Candice Van Drunen (David), Jori Vroom (Joe), Laci Van Dam (Max), Isaac, Desi Kerns, Dillon Kerns, Grant, Will, Adam and Gise; her great grandchildren, Parker and Beckham; her siblings, Wilm DeGroot (Nick) and Harriet VanderVelde (late George); and her siblings-in-law, Marv, Mary Smit and Wally Urban (Sandy).
