He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith Dietsch and Olivene Dietsch (Hug); and his brothers, Carlton Dietsch and Lavon Dietsch. He is survived by: his sons, Lamar Dietsch, Jr. (Chellie) of Edgerton, Ohio., Roger McBride of Hicksville, Ohio. and Shane; his daughter-in-law Deanna Dietsch of North Carolina; his grandchildren, McKenna Dietsch, Leben Dietsch, Harper Dietsch and Olivia Dietsch; and his sisters, Charlotte and Janice Bartlett of Edgerton, Ohio..

Memorial donations may be given to the Little Long Lake Association, in care of Sarah Nafziger, 505 Vine Street, Archbold, Ohio 43502.
