With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Turpen of Saint Bernice, Indiana, born in Oaktown, Indiana, who passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Skinner and Gladys Campbell Skinner; her husband Robert; her children, David and Deanna Fales; her grandson Nathan McCrocklin; and her brothers, Bill and Carl Skinner.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Turpen of Terre Haute and Randy Turpen of St. Bernice; her grandchildren, Daniela Rogers, Sara Reynolds, Justin McCrocklin, Destiny McCrocklin, Jon Turpen, Allisha Staten and Levi Gent; her great grandchildren, Braiden Rogers, Mallory Rogers, Kaitlyn Slaughter, Kaylon McCrocklin, Charlie Banks Reynolds, Coleton Reynolds, Gabe Turpen, Adeline Gasche and Max Gasche; and her great great grandchild Isla Slaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Sugar Grove Church in memory of Barbara Turpen.
