It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Louise Halsema in Saint Anthony, Indiana, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Humphrey and Ada Humphrey; her husband Samuel Halsema; and her daughter Bonnie Lee Halsema. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Halsema of Lafayette and Sherri Hilt of Lafayette. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
