He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ernest Knies, Vernon Knies and Jerome Knies; and his siblings-in-law, Delmar Schroering, Tony Hasenour, Ruth Knies and Cyrilla Knies.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Knies of St. Anthony; his children, Gina Hoffman (Ron) and Dean Knies (Tricia); his grandchildren, Devinn Knies, Klayton Knies, Bailey Hoffman and Carson Hoffman; his siblings, Rosetta Hasenour of Jasper, Connie Schroering of Jasper, Sharon Burger (Jerry) of Jasper, Dennis Knies of Celestine, Albert Knies of Celestine, Virgil Knies (Frances) of Celestine, Bernard Knies (Diane) of Celestine, Randall Knies (Janice) of Celestine, Paul Knies (Carol) and Perry Knies (Jane); and also, Ferdinand and Bretzville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish or a favorite Charity.
