He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Rex and Mildred Berniece Shepherd (Carter); his brother Donald Rex Shepherd; and his granddaughter Sienna Rome Butler. He is survived by: his wife Sherry (Shuck); his children, Shelly Shepherd, Lindsay Fernandez, Cami Jo Butler (Nolan), Dean Shepherd (Ashley) and Bart Shepherd (Kristen); his grandchildren, Caroline, Lily Long, Carter, Garrett Fernandez, Beau, Shepherd Butler, Brexton and Hudson Shepherd; and his siblings, Ann Haines and Allen Shepherd.
