She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Gaskins and Maryanne Gaskins (Williams); her husband Bud R. Temple; her daughter Angelia Jackson; and her son-in-law Eldon Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Baker (Tim), Ruben E. Temple, Michael Temple (Deana) of Oklahoma City, OK and Amy Lewe (Doug); and her grandchildren, Mindi Conaway (Nathan), Keith Barnett (Sara), Dean Jackson, Heather Zach (Steve), Jacob Lewe, Madison Lewe, Kirena Lewe, Brandy Seals (Ryan), Angel Debusk and Ryan Debusk (Armida). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Opal's memory to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 28, Military Foundation, or Emergency Management.
