He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Russell and Esther Taylor (Small); his daughter Kathy Joann Taylor; his sisters, Virginia Haynes, Helen Kelly and Carolyn Carson; and his daughter-in-law Linda Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances; his children, William Lewis "Bill" Taylor (Pam) of Noblesville, Richard Allen "Dick" Taylor (Nancy) of Kokomo and Karen Lynn Sword (Don) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Richard Scott Taylor, Christopher Ryan Taylor (Kristen), Amanda Kay Elkins (Tyler), Joseph Tyler Sword (Heather), Blake Anthony Taylor (Jessica), Jennifer Leighann Setar (Chris) and Sarah Jo Harmas (Stephen). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Russiaville Friends Church-Quaker Haven Camp, or the Kokomo Rescue Mission in Lewis' memory.
