He is survived by: his children, Jody Smith (Denny), Brod Silence, Kokomo McWhirt and Shelly McWhirt (Rusty); his stepchildren, Cindy Heuermann (John), Russiaville, Denny Ford and Grants Pass; his son-in-law Kenny Howerton of Tipton; his grandchildren, Erika Landrum, Abbie Smith (Nate Stout), Clay Silence (Beth), Ross McWhirt (Kayla), Morgan McWhirt, Todd Howerton (Chelsea), Caleb Howerton, Ben Sewell and Kiley Heuermann; and his great grandchildren, Gracie Heaton, Lillie Heaton, Wilson Heaton, Bennett Silence, Matilda Stout, Jack Stout, Kennedy Sewell, Preston Howerton and Berklee McWhirt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
