He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Heuermann and Marcia Trinosky (Imbler); his wife Cindy J. Sewell (Ford); his children, Ben Sewell, Brittany Sadler (Preston), Sara Peterson (Shawn Kelly) and Kiley Wetherford (Ben); and his grandchildren, Kennedy Sewell and Abi Hayen.

Contributions may be made in John's memory to the American Heart Association, the National Kidney Foundation, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
