With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Ewing of Russiaville, Indiana, born in Mount Summit, Indiana, who passed away on July 3, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Rutledge and Ethel Rutledge (Harvey); her husband Thomas Ewing; and her siblings, Sarah Groves, Charles Rutledge, Helen Batchfield, Mary Ray, Myron Rutledge and Norma Mohn.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Rushton (Steve), Dennis Hilligoss, Patti Hilligoss and Jean Hilligoss; her grandchildren, Jennifer Snyder (Allen), Shawna Gillenwater, Ashley Hage (Steve) and Craig Lloyd (Kim); her great grandchildren, Raylynn Snyder, Joel Snyder, Allen Snyder, Deja Gillenwater, Tyler Miller and Miles Hage; and her great great grandchild Christopher Pevehouse. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
