James Carte Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Carte (Russiaville, Indiana), who passed away on August 13, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carte and Maxine Carte (Rhodes); his brother Dick Carte; and his son Chris Carte. He is survived by: his wife Holly Slabach; his children, David Carte (Debbie), Kerry Carte (Krista), Leann Castor (Tim), Patrick Carte (Cindy Mayfield) and Todd; his stepchildren, Emily Slabach and Jason Slabach (Laura); his sister Dorothy Kirts; and his grandchildren, Linsey Bailey (Ross), Dustin Castor (Jill), Josh Carte, Ryan Castor (Jaymee), Shane Carte and Logan Carte. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
