With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Smith of Russiaville, Indiana, born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on November 24, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Smith and Miriam Smith (Foland); his wife Glenda Hodson; his brother Maurice Smith; his stepson Ted Callahan; his niece Sherri Baker; and his great-nephew Zach Baker.
He is survived by: his daughter Rochelle Hightower (Corbett); his stepsons, Darrin Zadra and Chuck Callahan; his grandsons, Brett Zadra, Austin Zadra and Dylan Hightower; his great grandchild Summer Zadra; his siblings, Wendell Smith (Cissa), Carlene Lawrence (John), Joe Smith (Vicki), Beverly Bell (Max) and Steve Smith (Pam); and his sister-in-law Linda Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
