He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Anna Marie Smith (Maynard); his wife Lois; and his great grandchild Kyle Collins. He is survived by: his daughters, Myra Lee (David) and Sarah Blanton (Chuck); his grandchildren, Jenny Collins (Matt), James Blanton (Misty), Amy Peddie (John), Jason Lee (Susan) and Eric Lee (Erin); his great grandchildren, Cody Collins and Jackson Peddie; his great great grandchild Kylee Collins; and his sister Daisy Dillard.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity or the Kokomo Rescue Mission.
