He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Watkins and Jewell Watkins (Ausbrooks); his daughter Sherri Crew; and his sister Wilda Lindsey. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Lawson; his children, James Watkins (Julie) and Mindy Hamilton (Tom); his grandchildren, Jordon Crew, Ryan Watkins, Alex Watkins, Alyson Hamilton and Taylor Hamilton; his sister Sue Theis; and his son-in-law John Crew.
