He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Jackson and Elizabeth Jackson (Collins); his wife Mary O'Neal; his son Robert "Bobby" Jackson; his grandson Stephen Jackson; his great grandchild William Nathaniel Forrester; and his siblings, Lela Jackson, Edward Jackson, Raymond Jackson, Dorothy Adcock, Claude Jackson and Roy Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Shackelford (Daniel) and Rick Jackson; his daughter-in-law Patty Jackson; his brother Hughie Jackson; and his grandchildren, Jason Crume, Jeremy Crume, Jenny Crume, Jacob Crume, Eric Jackson, Andrea Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Adam Jackson, Elyn Jackson, Hannah Eubank, Kira Jackson and Stephaun Jackson. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.
