He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Slutz and Catherine L. Slutz (Yant); his son Randal Slutz; and his siblings, Dorothy A. Howdyshell, William, Earl, Linford, Edward, Richard, John and Verl Slutz.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Slutz; his children, Tim Slutz (Phyllis) of Carlisle, OH, George Schaeffer of Pataskala, OH, Jennifer Bullard (Howard) of Rush County, Joni Wilson (John) of Washington Courthouse, OH and Kim Kyle of Reynoldsburg, OH; his daughter-in-law Lori Slutz of Pocatello; and his cousin Linda Engelhart. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
