He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Lloyd Smith (Strohmeier); and his sister Linda Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Linda Warfield of Rushville; his children, Duane Smith (Shannon) of St. Paul and Lori Newcomer (Chad) of Osceola, IN.; his sister Janice Hunt of Cumberland; and his grandchildren, Shelby Cascio (Bryan), Rachel and Riley Newcomer.
