He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Foster, Jr. and Dorothy Sparks Foster; his brother James Foster; and his sister-in-law Ruth Ann Foster. He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Kirkpatrick Burns; his children, Nancy Trimarco (Randy) of Greenfield, IN and David Foster (Theresa) of Delmar, PA; his stepchildren, Brian Burns (Elizabeth) of Indianapolis, IN, Bruce Burns (Karen) of New Lenox, IL and Brenda Burns of Portage, IN.; and his grandchildren, Ben, Joe, Jonathan, Jordan Burns, Evelyn, Amanda and Matthew Foster.
Due to Covid 19 a private memorial service will be held.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Rush County Community Foundation, Rush County Victim's Assistance or to St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
