We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2020, at the age of 86, Richard F. Eckel in Rushville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florentine Eckel and Ruth Eckel (Bennett); and his children, Richard Allen Eckel and Kathleen Louise Eckel. He is survived by: his wife Delilah Eckel (Allen); his daughters, Deloris Hickman (Garry) and Cheryl Eckel; his daughter-in-law Karrie Eckel; his grandchildren, Aaron Hickman (Treva), Amanda Draper (Jim), Shannon Herrell and Heather Eckel (Trevor Kelley); and his great grandchildren, Austin Hickman, Alexis Hickman, Duncan Draper, Devan Draper, Delaney Draper, Ezra Allen Eckel, Brooke Herrell and Brayden Herrell.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rushville Parks Department, Rushville Animal Shelter, Rushville Boys and Girls Club, or Center Christian Church.
