He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Foster and Beatrice Foster (Bagley); and his siblings, Harriet Flack, Ruth Ann York, Thomas Foster, Jr., John B. Foster and Lewis Foster.

He is survived by: his wife Maribel Willis of Rush County; his children, Greg Foster (Pennie McCreery) of Rush County and Melanie Ayers (David) of Connersville; and his grandchildren, Cameron Cox (Meg), Marissa Babbitt (Colin) of Indianapolis, Clayton Foster (Bekah) of Fort Collins, CO. and Olivia Combs (Dylan) of Alexandria.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rush County Community Foundation or to the Rushville Public Library.
