She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Shanahan and Virginia Mae Shanahan (Gallimore). She is survived by: her husband Rex Ratekin; her children, Mark A. Ratekin (Kathy) of Carmel, IN, Denis M. Ratekin (Patricia) of Shelbyville, Pete R. and Allana Marie Edwards (Brian) of Palm Bay, FL; and her siblings, Philip E Shanahan (Linda) of Sexton and Rose Marie Houze (Robert) of Rushville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
