He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Newton (Ogden) and Arthur Newton; his brothers, Verlin and Charles Newton; and his son-in-law William F. Moran Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Lois Ann Moran of Rushville and Edwin Newton (Cindy) of Bainbridge, GA; his stepchildren, Melissa James of Rushville, Robert Eckert (Tracey Sherwood) of Rushville and Eric Sylvia (Taryn) of Shelbyville; and his sister Judith Ramsey of Fortville, IN.. He is also survived by Four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren and one step great grand child along with several nieces and nephews.
