She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Chance and Erma Chance (Brown); her son Timothy Allen Peyton; her grandsons, Kenny Peyton and Cooper McDonald; and her brothers, Ray, John and James Chance.

She is survived by: her children, Oscar Howard McDonald of Rushville, Cindy Peyton (Mike Edwards) of Rushville and Monica Looney of Goshen; her siblings, Charles Chance (Joann) of Nashville, TN and Dorothy Davis of Niles, OH; her grandchildren, Bessie, Joshua Peyton, Scotty and John Custer; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Dixon, Joey, Austin Hopkins, Bentley and Addilynn Peyton.
