It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Wogsland of Rushville, Indiana, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Mary Jane may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Moore and Bernice Moore (Craven); her former husband William Waits; her husband Lloyd "Swede" Wogsland; and her brother Charles "Chuck" Moore.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Gottman (Steve) of Speedway; her grandchildren, Savannah Stoller (Brandon) and Blake Arevalos; and her great grandchild Heidi.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moster Mortuary (334 N Main St, Rushville, IN 46173). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Rush Memorial Hospital Sheehan Cancer Fund or Trinity Presbyterian Church.
