We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2023, at the age of 88, Margaret J. Spitzer of Rushville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Enos Walter and Marian Walter (Paul); her husband Robert E. Spitzer; her sister Shirley Humbles; her grandson Joshua Wilson; and her daughter-in-law Jan Spitzer.

She is survived by: her children, Robert H. Spitzer, Michael E. Spitzer of Rushville, Edie Purcell (John) of Carmel, Monica Wilson (Chuck) of Rushville and Jennifer K Barnes of Rushville; and her sisters, Nancy Murray of Pendleton and Judy Clement of Pendleton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rush County Community Assistance or to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
