She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Tellas and Florence Tellas; her brother Russell Tellas (Marlin); and her grandson Benjamin Newkirk. She is survived by: her children, James Newkirk, Marrice Newkirk and Teresa Newkirk; and her sister-in-law Benita Dill. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Raleigh Christian Church (4019 E 900 N, Rushville, IN 46173-9336). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
