With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Carpenter of Rushville, Indiana, born in Shelby, Indiana, who passed away on May 16, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johanna Zobel (Cord) and George C. Zobel; her husband Frank L. Carpenter; and her siblings, Edward, George "Cleon" and Dolores.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Jenkins (Charles) of Rushville, Janet Barker (Duane) of Columbus, IN, Gerry Carpenter (Sharon) of Edinburgh, IN, Frank Carpenter of Whiteland, IN and Nick Carpenter (Dawne) of Lutz, FL; her daughter-in-law Lisa Carpenter; and her brother Thomas Zobel (Norma) of Shelbyville, IN.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren.
