She was predeceased by: her parents, Verl Maple (Jack) and Hazel Lewis Maple; and her husband Richard. She is survived by: her children, Beth Ann Silcox (Greg), Steven Richard Douglass and Sara Jeanne Gottron (Matthew); her sister Donna Hunter (John); and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Douglass (Bonnie) and Sally Barnes (Donald). She is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
She struggled with the effects of Alzheimer's/dementia during which time she became "new Mom" to her family.
