He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosemary Wright (Francis) and Robert Wright. He is survived by: his wife Patty May; his children, Teresa M. Wright-Kester (John Kester) of The Woodlands, TX, Sheryl L. Frank (Kenneth) of Plain, WI, Dr. Robert M. Wright (Lisa) of West Lafayette, IN and Richard A. Wright (Sandra) of Connersville, IN; and his brothers, Phillip Wright (Norene) of Manilla, IN. and Mike Wright (Mary Kathleen) of Manilla, IN.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
