He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hill Benagh, Jr. and Mary Chappell Benagh (Rogers); and his sister Carolyn Benagh. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa J. Benagh (Duvall); his children, John Benagh, Jr. (Tammy), Stephen Benagh (Julie), Carolyn Wittmann (John), Sean Hart, Brian Hart (Heather Fosnaugh) and Sara Schaefer (Marcellus); and his brother William H. Benagh, III. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
