He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Lou (Jackson) and James Rankin; his sister Rebecca Rankin; and his brother-in-law Dennis Brown. He is survived by: his son Benjamin Rankin of Shelbyville; and his siblings, Debbie Rankin of Rushville, Susan Gideon of Rushville, Jamie Brown of Rushville and Mike Rankin (Yolanda).
