He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhoda Known (Birch) and James W. McQueen Sr. Known; his wife Darlene McQueen (Taylor); and his siblings, Christine Baker and Pat McQueen.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Combs (Gary), Elaine McQueen, Denitta Newsom (Gene) and David McQueen (Alice); and his brother John "Ed" McQueen. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
His work ethic was admired by many and his contributions to the farming community will not be forgotten.
