It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan E. Wooley of Rushville, Indiana, born in West Harrison, Indiana, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Wooley and Allene Wooley (Wilson); his sister Kay Sparks; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Sparks and Joe Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lohrey; his son Travis of Mt. Carmel; his daughter-in-law Kara (Feller); his grandchildren, Rayna, Dakota and Knox; his nieces and nephews, Beth Lake, Emily McNamara, Tony Sparks, Kelly Lohrey and Kasey Lohrey; his brother-in-law Jeff Lohrey; and also Glenna Jones.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (426 N Morgan St, Rushville, IN 46173). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or donor's favorite charity.
