He was predeceased by: his parent Ampie Lee; his wife Wanda Crabtree (Hicks); and his siblings, Maxine Bell, Ampie, Jr., Francis Conwell, Irene Denney, Mary Helen Mendenhall, Jeanella Walcot and Mildred Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Crabtree (Carolyn), Rhonda Barton (Tim Willhite) of Rushville, Brian Crabtree (Christa Stiers) of Shelbyville, Paul Crabtree (Euphemia) of Manilla and Paula Green (Jim) of Knightstown; and his siblings, Logan Crabtree (Marlene), Donald Crabtree and Wanda Thalls. He is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
