He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Sara Callahan (Taylor) and Houston Lee Callahan; his wife Sharon Callahan (Houston); his siblings, James L. Callahan, Mary Spight and Florence Barentine; his grandsons, Matt Cook and Todd Cook; his great grandchild Mason Harvey Gilles; his niece Karen Cleverly; his nephew James Cleverly; and his great-nephew Tony Barentine.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberlin Cook (James Porter), Theresa Boles, Michelle Hoovler (Michael) and James Boles (Tracie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
