He was predeceased by: his father Herbert McDonald; his wife Bonnie McDonald (McDaniel); his children, Bernard McDonald, Sarah York and Vicki Bussberg; and his siblings, Russell, Raymond McDonald and Wilma Jean Bastin.
He is survived by: his children, Tom McDonald (Elka) of Arlington, Mike McDonald of Greensburg, Janet Hatfield of Rushville, Kim Allen (Arnold) of Greensburg and Penny Moore of Rushville; and his brother Richard McDonald (Maxine) of Rushville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
