He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Dickson (Rees) and Claude J. Dickson. He is survived by: his daughters, Annette M Ratliff (Brett) of Knightstown, IN and Jacqueline W. Dickson of Rushville, IN; his grandson Damian Dickson (Andrea); his great grandchild Robert Martin of Shelbyville, IN; his grandson Eli Ratliff (Robbyn); his great grandchild Lincoln Ratliff of Greenfield, IN.; his son-in-law Brad Newkirk of Rushville; his brother James Dickson of Indianapolis, IN; and his daughters, Becky Riley (Larry) of Osceola, IN. and Caroline Newkirk.

Due to the pandemic, social distancing and facial masks will be observed while inside the funeral home.

His donation of time and skills to the many organizations and schools will never by forgotten.
