She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Ruble and Alta Ruble (Hankins); her former husband Everett Abrams Jr.; her siblings, Rosemary Wildey (Ruble), Betty Shook (Ruble), Jack, Jimmy and Steve Ruble; and her daughter Barbara S Hodson (Abrams).

She is survived by: her husband Paul Makofka; her son Tony Abrams (Trista) of Rushville; her stepsons, Jeff Makofka (Sophia) of Fort Wayne, IN and Dwane Makofka (Jackie) of Rushville; her daughters, Angie (Keith Ison) of Franklin County and Diana Stephens (Abrams) of Shelbyville; and her sisters, Bonnie Wagner (Ruble) of Rushville, Shirley Means (Ruble) of Greensburg and Nancy Cloud (Jim) of Rushville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
