He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Bright and Della A. Bright (Newton). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bright (Johnson); his stepson Mike Hammonds (Jane) of Lafayette; and his sister Virginia Wesling of New Salem. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
