It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daphne Jean Vandeventer in Rushville, Indiana, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Gardner and Iris Gardner (Joyner); her husband Edward Milton Vandeventer Sr.; her son Edward Milton Jr.; her siblings, Morris "Buddy" and Joan; her granddaughter Mindy; and her great grandchild Andrew Stephen Jacobs.
She is survived by: her brother Bob Gardner (Peggy) of Rushville; her granddaughters, Gina Turner of Georgia and Cindy Sever of Rushvlle; her great grandchildren, Kayla Robinson, Stevie Sever, Kimberly Sever, Jarid and Brett Roberts; and her sisters-in-law, Eleanor Gardner (Buddy) and Betty Vandeventer. She is also survived by 2 great-great grandsons and 4 great-great granddaughters.
