He was predeceased by: his father Billy D. Green; and his brother Patrick Thurston. He is survived by: his mother Betty Lou Thurston (Gulley) of Greensburg; and his siblings, Brian Green (Mary) of Greensburg, Boyd Green of Metamora and Jennifer Dwenger (Steven) of Greensburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Association.
